ingredients :

  • Ardeh = 3/4 cup
  • Orange juice or water = 1 cup
  • Sugar = 1 and 1/3 cup (300 ml)
  • Eggs = 3 pieces
  • Sesame = 4 tbsp
  • Sesame oil = 2/3 cup
  • Flour = 2 and 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla = 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder = 2 teaspoons

Instruction :

first stage:
First, break the eggs in a mixing bowl. Add sugar and vanilla. Stir for one minute on medium speed and two minutes on high speed to lighten the color and color.

second stage:
At this stage of preparing sesame flour cake, add oil to the yeast and mix. Then it is time to add orange juice. Of course, you can also use ordinary water instead. Stir again for 30 seconds.

third level:
Add flour. After mixing the flour completely with the ingredients, sift the flour and baking powder on the yeast. Do not stir too much after adding the baking powder. Finally add the sesame seeds and stir with a spoon to spread on the sesame cake batter.

Step 4:
Using a brush, apply some flour to the bottom of the mold. Then sprinkle some sesame seeds on it. Pour the sesame cake icing into the mold. Then place it in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius. Baking this cake takes about 50 to 60 minutes. Of course, this also depends on the material and size of your mold and oven. So before removing the cake from the oven, check that it is baked with a toothpick.

Important Notes:
– Before preparing the cake, put the ingredients out of the refrigerator for half an hour to reach room temperature.
– Keep the flour in a cool, dry place. Because it loses its properties in hot weather. In summer, store Ardeh in the refrigerator at a moderate temperature.
