If you want to make a cookie that does not need a lot of raw materials like vanilla cookies, raisin cookies and sugar cookies, but is delicious and attractive, honey and sesame cookies are the best choice. Because this cookie only needs flour, eggs, sugar, honey, sesame and butter and is very easy and quick to prepare. The only thing it has is that you have to rest the dough for an hour so that it takes hold and becomes cohesive.

ingredients :

  • Flour = 225 grams (1 and 1/2 cup)
  • Butter = 100 grams
  • Sugar = 60 grams
  • Eggs = 1 pc
  • Sesame = 40 grams (1/4 cup)
  • Honey = 4 tablespoons
  • Salt = as needed
  • Honey = some to decorate

Instruction :

first stage:
First, mix the butter and sugar well with an electric mixer or mixer until soft and creamy. About 5 minutes is enough time for this.

second stage:
Add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture and mix together with an electric mixer.

third level:
At this stage of preparing honey and sesame cookies, you should add sesame and flour. It is better to sift the flour on the rest of the ingredients.

Step 4:
Mix the cookie ingredients well. Knead the dough and quickly roll it into a round ball. Press the cookie dough until slightly flattened. Then cover it with a plastic bag and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for an hour.

Step 5:
Turn on the oven to heat slowly to 180 degrees Celsius. Form the dough into round balls the size of a walnut. Spread greaseproof paper on the oven tray and place the cookies in it. Press on the cookies until slightly flattened.

Last step:
Using a special brush or brush, dip the cookies in honey. Then sprinkle some sesame seeds on them. Now place the sesame and honey cookies on the middle layer of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. When the cookies are light brown, they are ready to be removed from the oven. Wait for them to cool and then separate them from the greaseproof paper.
