Delicious Persian barberry rice with chicken recipe

ingredients :
- Skinless chicken = 300 grams
- Rice = 4 cups
- Small onion = 3 pcs
- Barberry = 1 glass
- Sugar = 2 tablespoons of jam
- Frying oil = 2 tablespoons
- Butter = 1 tablespoon
- Saffron, salt and turmeric = as desired
Instruction :
Fry the chicken pieces in 2 tablespoons of oil without adding spices, and after it turns golden, add the onions, and after adding salt and turmeric, add some water and let them cook over a gentle heat.
Pour the rice into the pot where the water is boiling and drain it after a few minutes.
Put butter, sugar, saffron and barberry in a small pan and after the butter melts, add a little water to them and remove this mixture from the heat so that both the barberry stays red and the saffron gives its color to other contents.
Put the rice in a bowl after brewing and cover it with rice mixed with barberry and saffron. Put the chicken in another bowl and serve the chicken juice in small bowls.
