Delicious recipe for two layers of pistachio cake and rose water
Pistachio and rosewater cake consists of a pistachio cake and a cover with rose aroma. Pistachio cake itself is delicious and complete and uses ground pistachio kernels. But buttercream rose completes the flavor of this delicious cake. You can prepare pistachio and rose cake for different occasions and entertain your guests with it.
ingredients :
- Roasted pistachios without salt = 200 grams
- Butter = 250 grams
- Ground sugar = 1 and 1/2 cups (330 g)
- Grated lemon peel = 2 tsp
- Eggs = 4 pieces
- White flour = 1 cup
- Self-raising flour = 1/2 cup
- Yogurt = 3/4 cup
To prepare rose butter cream:
- Butter = 250 grams
- Rose = 2 teaspoons
- Powdered sugar = 3 cups (480 g)
Instruction :
Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Grease a 22 cm round cake tin and grease it with greaseproof paper so that the bottom and walls are covered with greaseproof paper.
Leave the butter out for a while until it reaches room temperature. Beat or grind the pistachios in a mortar.
Beat the butter with the sugar and grated lemon peel very well with an electric mixer to find a soft and light texture. Then break the eggs one by one and add to the ingredients and mix. Sift the flour and self-raising flour into the mixture. Then add yogurt and 1 cup of ground pistachios. Stir the ingredients until the cake is smooth.
Pour the ink into the mold and spread. Leave the cake in the oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes until completely cooked. Then take it out of the oven. After 5 minutes, turn it over on a wire rack to cool.
Now it is time to prepare rose butter cream. Pour 250 grams of softened butter with rose water in a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the color turns white as much as possible. Now gradually add powdered sugar and stir until the cream is smooth.
When the pistachio cake is ready, cut it in half in two layers. Apply 1/3 butter cream on the first layer. Then put the second layer of cake on it. Spread the remaining buttercream all around the cake and on it to cover it completely. Then sprinkle the rest of the pistachio powder on the cake.
Tip: Add rose little by little and try its aroma. Adjust the amount depending on your taste. 1 teaspoon may be enough for your temperament.
