Development of 15 hectares of saffron farms in Kuhbanan

Director of Kuhbanan Agricultural Jihad, referring to the 15-hectare increase in saffron cultivation area in Kuhbanan, said: Previously, the saffron cultivation area in Kuhbanan was 200 hectares.
Ali Akbar Majidi, director of Jihad Keshavarzi in Kuhbanan city, said: Previously, the area under saffron cultivation in Kuhbanan city was 200 hectares, but in the new cultivation period, 15 hectares were added to the cultivation area of these farms.
He said that last year, the amount of saffron production in Kuhbanan was one thousand kilograms, adding: the average yield of saffron farms in this city is 5 kilograms per hectare.
