East Kerman becomes the main center of dates in Iran
Majid Etemadi stated in the meeting of East Kerman Development Triangle in Bam: In the past, a date headquarters was formed in the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, which was transferred to Kerman province and its chairmanship was given to the governor. At present, this headquarters has a good capacity. To improve the situation of dates in the eastern part of the province.
He said: The prosperity of the economy with the help of the private sector is emphasized by the government and the governor of Kerman, and today this is a good opportunity for all capable people, although there are difficulties, but it has good results for the region.
Governor Reagan said: According to the emphasis of the governor of Kerman, the private sector should be activated and these programs and meetings should be implemented, and we are all obliged to take steps in this direction.
The official added: Our country is growing and developing step by step, and all people should work in this field so that the growth and prosperity of the country can be done more quickly.
Etemadi added: In the near future, increasing production, creating sustainable employment and increasing productivity of date products should be achieved and we should see that the east of the province is the main pole of the country’s dates.
The head of the Kerman Eastern Dates Association also said: about 150,000 tons of dates are produced in the eastern region of the province and the gardeners’ cooperative should reach the point where it can buy 30% of the region’s dates at the beginning of the harvest season and pack it properly. .
Yousef Sajjadi noted: In the past, several companies were formed and because they were not successful, people’s trust was strengthened and farmers find it difficult to invest in such companies, and we must first build this trust among the people.
