End of grape harvest in Hormozgan
Masoud Gargij, director of horticulture affairs of Hormozgan Agricultural Jihad Organization, said: These products have been harvested from 578 hectares of grape vineyards, which is a 10% increase compared to last year.
He said the reason for the increase was the use of improved seedlings and the fight against pests and diseases.
The director of horticulture affairs of Hormozgan Agricultural Jihad Organization added: 60% of the grape cultivation area belongs to Hajiabad city and 36% to Rudan city.
Massoud Gargij said: Yaghouti and Askari are the most important cultivars cultivated in the province.
He added: in addition to consumption in the markets of the province, the produced products are also sent to the neighboring provinces.
