Exercise tea and vitamin D prevent dementia
Recent research has shown that tea, exercise and vitamin D are a combination that reduces the risk of dementia.
Researchers say; Drinking tea daily with physical activity and also taking vitamin D is very effective in preventing dementia.
The first study was conducted on the risk of cardiovascular disease by researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
In this study, more than 1,200 people were studied over 20 years, 242 of whom suffered from dementia. This study showed that physical activity reduces the risk of dementia by up to 40%.
The second study was conducted for 14 years on more than 4800 men and women and 65 years and older. The researchers found that drinking tea one to four times a week reduced the risk of dementia by 37% compared to those who did not drink tea at all.
According to the English News website, in the third study, the effect of vitamin D on brain health was examined and it was shown that this vitamin also reduces the probability of mental disabilities by 42%.
