He said: the export of dates, which is one of the most important and most advantageous products of the province, is 24 million 231 thousand tons and the dollar value is 29 million 5 thousand 75 dollars, which is sold at a price of 1.2 dollars per kilogram.

Ganjali further stated: The export of dates is done more in summer and spring and less in winter and autumn, which is due to the harvest season of this product.

Regarding the province’s agricultural products exported to other countries, he said: Agricultural products exported to other countries include dates, watermelons, medicinal plants, chickpeas, raisins, legumes, coriander seeds, nuts, potatoes and pistachios.

He added: Some of the province’s agricultural products, such as tropical fruits, have a good consumer market inside the province due to the lack of agricultural jihad licenses, and they cannot be exported due to the problem of transporting products and waste.

Regarding the shortcomings in the field of export of agricultural products in the province, he said: lack of specialized export terminal for agricultural products in the province, export of products produced before processing and without added value, improper transportation and storage of products, market fluctuations and its direct impact on commercial space In particular, exports and banking problems are among the leading shortcomings of the province’s agricultural exports.

Ganjali continued: Instability of agricultural prices, increase or decrease in production costs due to lack of proper cultivation pattern, increase in production inputs and stresses and fluctuations in global product prices, limited financial support for gardeners and producers and lack of a suitable bed for storage. And buying that producers are forced to sell or consume the product within a certain period of time, increasing the cost of transporting date waste due to the lack of refrigeration and the lack of packaging centers near the farms, which increases the cost of transport and waste, traditional packaging Inadequate products, lack of information network to follow the situation of domestic and foreign markets, high production costs due to traditional cultivation and harvesting of products, lack of communication facilities with low interest rates, especially for date products are other shortcomings of the province’s agricultural exports.

He said: Establishment of specialized export terminals for agricultural products in the province and in important production areas of products, specialized transportation of these products to prevent the decline in quality and waste reduction, as well as speed up exports, which reduces costs, creating a brand and Especially for advantageous products such as dates, using the results of agricultural scientific research to produce better quality organic products, inviting, encouraging and supporting domestic and foreign investors to establish processing plants, processing and packaging of agricultural products, including solutions to exit problems Exports of agricultural products of the province.

Ganjali further added: Early notification of facilities by the Central Bank to operating banks and lowering interest rates on facilities, announcement of global prices of agricultural products by associations and unions related to the agricultural sector, mechanized production steps, establishment of packaging and processing centers and small cold storages in In addition to farms and orchards, encouraging and assisting producers and exporters of agricultural products to participate in international exhibitions of agricultural products is another way out of the problems of exporting agricultural products in the province.

Ganjali said: in the province, more than 35 industrial units are active in the field of dates, of which 23 refrigeration units of 100 to 5000 tons with a total capacity of 34050 tons, 12 packing units of 400 to 8000 tons with a total capacity of 28700 tons and two juice and chocolate processing units It is a date.
