Export of 61000 dollars for Lorestan handicrafts

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Lorestan announced the export of 61,000 dollars for handicrafts in the province last year.
Seyed Amin Ghasemi stated: At present, 52 common indigenous and non-indigenous disciplines of handicrafts are produced in the province.
He added: There are 3,500 small, large, individual and home-based handicraft workshops in the province.
Ghasemi added: 7,500 artists are active in the field of handicraft products with the permission of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province and more than 12,000 people as home-based businesses.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Lorestan named the holding of 29 training courses in 2019 for handicraft artists in the province as an important step in the development and promotion of this art of industry in the province and added:
And in cooperation with the private sector in the cities of Boroujerd, Dorud and Aligudarz, the self-government will supply the province’s handicraft products.
He pointed out that more work needs to be done regarding the sale of handicrafts in the province, adding:
Last year, we sold $ 55,000 in luggage and $ 6,000 through customs to export handicraft products to different countries.
Ghasemi reminded: most of the handicrafts are produced jointly in different parts of Lorestan, but some industries in the cities are produced and produced more specifically.
