Export of Iranian dates to North America and Europe

A date exporter, referring to the increase in date exports last year compared to 2010, said: The export situation is not worrying.
Siamak Shahriari stated: Recent international restrictions have caused problems in the export transportation system and at the moment we can not export to all countries.
Export dates are now exported to the destination country through ports or other countries, which increases our costs.
Due to international restrictions on foreign exchange transfers, we are facing problems, with exporters’ bank accounts closed in many countries, even in Turkey and Dubai, he said.
Shahriari said that dates are exported to countries such as North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, adding: Not all problems of exporters are related to the country and international policies and restrictions are also effective in causing these problems.
