Exports of pistachios and pistachio kernels decreased

Exports of pistachios and pistachio kernels fell by 13 percent in the first eight months of this year, compared to the same period last year,
to about $ 324 million due to lower production last year.
According to the public relations of the Export Development Center, it is predicted that it will be compensated by increasing production
in the current year and by decreasing exports in the remaining period of the current year.
Also, the export of biscuits and sweets during this period compared to the same period last year decreased by 24% to $ 15 million,
while the export of chocolates and the like in the same period increased by 6% to more than $ 10 million.
