Fooman rice production range decreased
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Fooman city said: with the 9% increase in mechanized rice cultivation in Fooman, the suffering of rice production in this city decreased.
Mohammad Reza Ebrahimzadeh said today in the agricultural meeting of Fooman: mechanized rice cultivation has been done in 2,550 hectares of paddy fields covered by the city.
He stated that mechanized cultivation has been done with more than 124 transplanters in 2,550 hectares of paddy fields covered by the city, adding: the use of mechanized machines in Fooman city is facing a 9% increase.
Ebrahimzadeh, referring to the benefits of mechanized rice cultivation, added: In this crop year, due to the benefits of mechanized cultivation, including reducing production costs and saving time and seed consumption and labor costs and reducing labor difficulty.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Fooman city said: the ease of carrying out agricultural operations (planting, holding and harvesting) was welcomed by the farmers of the region.
Ebrahimzadeh announced the increase of transplanting machines handed over to farmers and specified: the payment of bank facilities for the purchase of agricultural machinery has increased by 9% compared to last year.
He pointed out: Fooman city, with 12 thousand and 870 hectares of paddy lands, produces 22 thousand tons of paddy and about 42 thousand tons of rice per year, in total, Fooman city supplies six percent of the province’s rice.
