Forecast of harvesting 200,000 tons of onions in Minab

The director of Minab Agricultural Jihad said: the onions harvest started from 5,000 hectares of agricultural lands in Minab city.

Abbas Moayedi, director of Minab Agricultural Jihad, referring to the beginning of onions harvest from the agricultural lands of this city, said: it is predicted that about 70,000 tons of onions will be harvested from Minab agricultural lands this year, which is 15% more than last year.

Moayedi added: in addition to selling the harvested product in the markets of Hormozgan province, it will also be sent to other provinces of the country.

He said: onions harvest in Minab city will continue until April next year.
