Grape harvest began in Hormozgan

The Director of Agriculture of Hormozgan Jihad Agricultural Organization announced the beginning of grape harvest from Hormozgan orchards.

Seyed Reza Amirzadeh said:
it is expected that 2,560,000 tons of grapes will be harvested from 578 hectares of orchards in the province.

He said that favorable weather and observance of technical principles will increase this year’s crop by one percent, adding:
Yaghouti and Askari are grape cultivars grown in the orchards of Rudan and Hajiabad cities.

The director of agriculture of Hormozgan Jihad Agricultural Organization, pointing out that grape harvesting will continue until the end of June, said:
in addition to domestic consumption, the harvested grapes will be sent to the provinces of Tehran, Fars and Isfahan.
