Grape juice helps to strengthen the memory of the elderly
Research shows that drinking grape juice helps to strengthen the memory of the elderly.
A group of people were researching whether eating polyphenol-rich foods and drinks had beneficial effects on memory loss in the elderly, said Robert Kerry Keroyan of US Medical College.
According to the report, in this study, 12 people with early memory loss were studied.
Participants in the study drank a total of 15 to 21 ounces of grape juice, based on body weight, daily consumption of grape juice, or medication taken over 12 weeks.
This report states; The calorie and sugar content of these drinks were the same, but only grape juice contained natural polyphenolic compounds that had antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This improvement was evident in their short-term memory.
This study showed that people who drank grape juice made significant progress in learning and its course.
