Grapes are the export products of Khondab

Sharifi added: the grapes of this city are currently exported from Malayer in Hamadan province, which due to the existence of capacities, it is possible to export it from Khondab.
He stated: At present, 5,700 hectares of garden lands in Khondab have been allocated for grape cultivation, from which more than 100,000 tons of grapes are expected to be harvested.
The director of Khondab Agricultural Jihad added: the average amount of grapes harvested in this city is 18 tons per hectare and about four thousand farmers are working in the field of this product.
Sharifi, stating that the time of grape harvest in Khondab begins in the second half of September, continued: Grapes in this city also become raisins, juice and grape paste.
He reminded: The grape festival in Khondab will be held on the second of October, in which all farmers, experts and city officials will be present.
In addition to Ango, there are also peach, nectarine, walnut, almond, apricot, plum and cherry orchards in the city.
