Gholam-Ali Faizollahi in the symposium of culture and art of Isfahan province, stating that none of the officials pay attention to handicrafts, said: We met with members of parliament such as Mr. Moqtadaei, the governor of Isfahan, and we were happy that when they go to parliament, problems will be solved. Referring to the situation of handicrafts in Isfahan province, he added: Isfahan handicrafts like Mina are being destroyed and buying Isfahan handicrafts is also facing many problems.
The head of the Isfahan Handicrafts Union continued: Handicrafts are bought in Tehran and Isfahan only cooks for its own artist, while the situation of the handicrafts market is getting worse day by day.
Expressing hope for the optimization of handicrafts, its training and sale, Faizollahi added: Many times, like-minded meetings were held, but to no avail. However, I hope that the Islamic Consultative Assembly will think about handicrafts.
He protested against the sale of Chinese goods in Naghsh Jahan Square, stating: The goods sold in Naghsh Jahan Square are not handicrafts, but foreign and Chinese goods that have been imported and the handicrafts market has faced many problems.
The head of the Isfahan Handicrafts Union said: We must go back and help the handicrafts of Isfahan province with the technique of a teacher and a student, otherwise many problems will befall the handicrafts.
