The director of horticulture of the Jihad Agricultural Organization of the province stated: Walnuts have always had a good market for sale due to their high storage properties.

Ebrahimi, pointing out that this product is grown in the mountainous areas of the province, including Khalajistan, Qahan and Kahak, added: Qom province due to the climate, especially in the mountainous region to plant a variety of walnut trees, including white-skinned walnut and bark Paper is susceptible, but currently the most common type of walnut in Qom province is native cultivars.

Ebrahimi, pointing out that the long-term yield of walnut crop in Qom province is 1500 kg, added: the area under cultivation of walnut crop in Qom province is 1200 hectares, of which 1100 hectares are fertile.
