Harvesting 120,000 hectares of rice fields in Mazandaran
The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization announced the allocation of 55,500 hectares of paddy lands in the province for replanting and breeding ratoon.
Reza Azimi stated: Due to the problems of the livestock fodder sector, a special program in the two axes of short-term and medium-term to put these problems on the agenda.
He continued: the comprehensive plan for supplying fodder in the province is being prepared and is being finalized.
The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization reminded: in the past years, there has been fodder cultivation in the province, and the continuation of this process can solve the problem of fodder supply in Mazandaran.
Azimi stated: This year, due to the favorable conditions in terms of water resources in Mazandaran, fortunately all levels of paddy in the province have been under paddy cultivation.
He stated: The conversion rate of rice in Mazandaran rice mills this year is 62%.
The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization, referring to the fact that rice harvesting operations have been carried out in 120,000 hectares of paddy lands in the province, said: Of this amount, 85,000 hectares have been mechanized cultivation.
Azimi pointed out: It is predicted that 130,000 hectares of rice paddy lands in Mazandaran will be harvested mechanized this year, which will increase due to its progress.
He reminded: In the first five months of this year, compared to the last 6 years, we have witnessed an increase in the number of combine harvesters, most of whose credit has been provided through the agricultural working group and the private sector. We hope to change the rice mechanization sector.
The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization stated: In the last 6 years, 400 combine harvesters have entered the rice market cycle, and we hope to see good success in the province by establishing these movements.
