Harvesting 14000 tons of walnuts from the gardens of Lorestan

Horticulture director of Lorestan Agricultural Jihad Organization, said: It is predicted that 14,000 tons of walnuts will be harvested from the province’s orchards this year.

Engineer Baharvand stated: There are 16,182 hectares of walnut orchards in Lorestan, of which 6,751 hectares are fertile and the rest are seedlings.

The official added: It is also predicted that 36,000 hectares of blue grapes and 65 tons of rain-fed grapes will be produced in Lorestan this year.

Horticulture director of Lorestan Agricultural Jihad Organization, said: in Lorestan there are 4896 hectares of blue grape orchards and 70 hectares of rainfed grapes.
