Harvesting 15,000 kg of thyme from Minab rangelands

More than 15 thousand kilograms of thyme were harvested from the pastures of Minab city.
The head of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department of Minab city said about the harvest: Due to the rains that took place late last year, a suitable opportunity was created for the growth and revitalization of rangeland species, especially thyme, in mountainous areas.

He added: The villages of Garou, Tehtan, and the Wolf Desert are the main areas of thyme cultivation in Minab city.

The head of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department of Minab city said: the harvested thyme will be exported to Fars and West Azerbaijan provinces.

Hatami added: Treatment of cough, sinusitis, heart health, treatment of digestive problems, relieving fatigue, increasing body strength, strengthening the immune system, relieving skin inflammation are some of the properties of this medicinal plant.
