Harvesting 200 hectares of figs from the gardens of Jahrom city

Mohammad Reza Shahabi stated: Harvesting of blue figs in more than 200 hectares of blue fig orchards in different parts of Jahrom city has started since early August.
He pointed out that more than 1,600 tons of blue figs are produced from these orchards, adding: Jahrom city also has 5,000 hectares of rainfed figs, which will be harvested in early September and is expected to be harvested according to 5,000 tons of rainfed figs.
The director of Jahrom Agricultural Jihad mentioned the lack of processing and packaging industries of this product in the city as one of the important problems and said: We hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible with the help of the relevant officials.
Referring to the fact that most of the fig orchards are in the heights of Khafr and Simkan districts, Shahabi mentioned the construction of a road between the rainfed fig orchards in Simkan and Khafr districts, which will provide better services to gardeners and better care for experts, including agricultural jihad management activities.
