Harvesting 200,000 tons of dates in Sistan and Baluchestan

Referring to the increase of 50 hectares under date cultivation area last year, he said: This year, increasing the area of date orchards with commercial and marketable cultivars is on the agenda of this management and since the beginning of this year, 567 subsidized date seedlings of Pyaram cultivar have been distributed among farmers. Shahraki acknowledged: more than 100 types of dates are cultivated in the province, the highest level is allocated to Mazafati and Rabi cultivars.
