Harvesting 225 kg of mountain pennyroyal from habitats of Isfahan province

The director of the exploitation department of the General Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Isfahan province said: This year, in suitable climatic conditions, the harvest of mountain pennyroyal from the habitats of the province has increased from 125 to 225 kg.

Mir Talebi, stating that the area of natural habitats in Isfahan province is 173 hectares, said: The harvest of this medicinal plant from the habitats of the province increased by 100 kg this year.
He added: mountain pennyroyal harvest in Chadegan, Feridan, Shahinshahr, Semirom and Dehaghan counties starts in May and continues until early October.
The director of the exploitation department of the General Department of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Isfahan province stated: The mountain pennyroyal harvest has generated 180 million Rials for the exploiters this year.
I have to say; Pennyroyal is from the mint family and in addition to digesting food and relieving hiccups, it is anticonvulsant and calms the nerves and helps treat diarrhea and intestinal diseases.
