Harvesting 28000 tons of walnuts from Kerman orchards
The head of the Jihad Agriculture Organization of Kerman province said: 28,000 tons of walnuts will be harvested in Kerman province this year.
Abbas Mollai mentioned and specified the area of walnut orchards in the province as 350 hectares this year: it is predicted that 28,000 tons of walnuts will be harvested in Kerman province this year.
The head of the Jihad Agriculture Organization of Kerman province stated: Last year, 26,000 tons of pawns were harvested in the province.
He added: the amount of walnut production has increased this year and this increase is estimated at about two thousand tons in the province.

He pointed to pressurized irrigation and specified: Pressurized irrigation, if designed and implemented in principle and under the supervision of experts, is also suitable for walnut trees.
“Walnuts are best planted in areas with cold winters, and basically this plant will bear fruit when it has endured a cold period in winter,” said Mullah.
He pointed out: Walnuts are planted in the cities of Zarand, Ravar, Baft, Bardsir, Rabar, Kerman, Sirjan, Shahrbabak, Kuhbanan and Rafsanjan.
In the end, Mollai stated that the first rank of walnut harvest in the province belongs to Baft city, adding: the amount of walnut harvest in Baft this year is about 9500 tons.
