Harvesting 29,000 tons of grapes from vineyards in Dana city

Director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Dana city, said:
more than 29 thousand tons of grapes are expected to be harvested in this city.
Fazlullah Azarfar described the grape cultivars of this city as Askari and Yaghooti and added:
the produced product is partly sold in the province and partly in the markets of neighboring provinces such as Fars, Isfahan, Bushehr and Khuzestan.
He stated that the grapes of Dana city have a good quality, he said:
this city is ranked first in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces in terms of variety, quantity and quality of garden products.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Dana city pointed out:
the apple tree of the city is the second in the country after Damavand apple,
and this product is exported to the countries of the Persian Gulf, India and Pakistan.
Azarfar stated:
Due to hail and frost, the grapes of this city have not increased and 850 hectares of grape cultivation area is in the city of Dana ,
where an average of 30 to 35 tons of grapes are harvested from each hectare.
He continued:
The lack of conversion industries is one of the most important problems of this product and he stated:
the lack of guaranteed sales of products has caused the profit from the work and efforts of farmers to go to the pockets of brokers and intermediaries.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Dana city added:
Last year, more than 29 thousand tons of grapes were harvested from the orchards of Dana city.
