Director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Rafsanjan city, stating that the harvest of Damask rose in this city, which started from the end of April, continued for a month, said: 30 tons of this crop was harvested from 15 hectares of Damask rose cultivation area in the city.

Abbas Haj Abdollahi stated: Every year, from the end of April, the harvest of Damask rose starts from the farms under cultivation in Rafsanjan and continues for about a month, and this year, about 2 tons of Damask rose was harvested from each hectare.

He added: 15 hectares of agricultural farms in Rafsanjan are dedicated to Damask rose cultivation, which are scattered in Sarcheshmeh, Raviz and mountainous areas of the suburbs, including Tajabad, Davaran, Khonaman, etc.

The director of Rafsanjan Agricultural Jihad stated: Most of this product is sent to rose-making workshops in the city and a small percentage is dried as a bud and is used for food and decorative purposes in confectioneries, and usually the bud 24 hours before It is harvested from the opening.

Haj Abdollahi pointed out: If someone has a request for low-interest facilities for the development and cultivation of Damask rose, he can refer to the Agricultural Jihad Office and after being introduced to the bank, he can receive 50 million Tomans per hectare.
