Walnut harvest began on 295 hectares of Doroud orchards.
Engineer Gholamreza Hashemi, director of Jihad Keshavarzi in Dorud city, referring to the beginning of walnut harvest from this week in this city, noted: Walnut harvest in the orchards of the city on 295 hectares began on September 16th.
He added: Due to the favorable weather conditions, it is predicted that about 400 tons of walnuts will be harvested from the gardens of this city by the end of this year.
In the end, the director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Dorud city emphasized: the walnut cultivars of the region are mainly paper bark and crow tip, and some of the products of this product are exported outside the city.
