Harvesting 7 tons of grapes from Kowsar vineyards
Ghaffar Shabani added: This year, 5 tons of blue grapes and 2 tons of dry grapes will be obtained from the vineyards of this city and it is predicted that about 7 tons of grapes will be produced in the city.
He said: having a suitable climate, paying attention to the technical recommendations of horticultural experts, plant protection by gardeners and also increasing the level of fertile gardens are the reasons for the increase of about 50% of this product.
Consumption of grapes in the city is partly fresh and the rest is grape juice, juice and most of it is raisin production.
The highest level of grape cultivation in Kowsar is related to Heydari species and Asgari, Bidaneh Soltani, Ghoreh Shirin, cloves and Bidaneh grapes are other grape species in this city.
The highest amount of grape production in Kowsar city is in Aznav and Qomli Gol regions and the highest volume of planting and production of grapes in this city belongs to Heydari and Ghore Shirin species.
Kowsar city has 50,000 hectares of agriculture and horticulture, which annually produces 25,000 tons of garden products in this city.
