The head of Amlash tea department said: Amlash tea growers have harvested more than 13,000 tons of green tea leaves in Amlash by the end of last July.

Mohammad Talebi, stating that Amlishi tea growers have harvested more than 13,000 tons of green tea leaves by the end of last July, said:

Tea growers in this city from the beginning of green tea harvest to the end of July 13,595 tons of green tea leaves They have harvested 5,200 hectares of their gardens.

He added:

The tea growers have supplied this amount of harvested green tea leaves to the tea factories of the contracting party with the tea organization at a guaranteed price, of which 7,083 tons are first grade and the rest are second grade.

Talebi stated that the value of this amount of green tea leaves was 96 billion and 308 million Rials and said:

63 billion and 614 million Rials have been paid so far and 32 billion and 874 million Rials from the claims until the end of July, tea growers plus the claims of August. And September remains.

Amlash city produces 32% of the country’s tea.
