Harvesting of ruby grapes began in West Gilan
The head of the management of Jihad Keshavarzi of Gilan-e-Gharb said:
the operation of harvesting ruby grapes in 320 hectares of orchards of Gilan-e-Gharb has started.
Engineer Haidarpour added:
The average harvest of grapes in the orchards of Gilan-e-Gharb city is five tons per hectare,
which is expected to produce and send 1250 tons of ruby grapes from the orchards of this city.
The head of the Jihad-e-Agriculture Department of Gilan-e-Gharb pointed out:
250 hectares of orchards planted with ruby grapes have been planted and the harvesting has started in July.
In the end, Haidarpour said:
Due to the favorable weather conditions, ruby vineyards have been developed in recent years
and the harvest of ruby grapes is expected to increase by 10% compared to last year.
