The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ramhormoz city announced the harvest of more than 150 tons of onions products in this city.

Seyyed Mohammad Reza Hassani, director of Jihad Keshavarzi in Ramhormoz city, pointed out that a farmer in Ramhormoz planted onions in 1.5 hectares of his land, and said: 150 tons of this crop was harvested from this amount of cultivation.

He described the irrigation of onion lands as drip irrigation and specified: by using this method, 90% of water consumption has been saved.

Hassani stated that the average yield of onion crop in the province is 30 tons and stated: the harvest of this amount of onion in the farm of this farmer Ramhormozi has reached 3.5 times.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ramhormoz city acknowledged: The onion cultivated in this farm is of pup type and the use of organic fertilizers, optimal water consumption, cultivation method and not using pesticides and herbicides has increased the yield of this product.
