House of Handicrafts and Souvenirs in Torbat Heydariyeh
Head of Torbat Heydariyeh Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department stated:
In order to develop and strengthen handicrafts and with the participation of Torbat Heydariyeh handicrafts artists, Qutbuddin Haidar historical and cultural complex will become a place for training, production and supply of handicraft products in the city.
Ali Mohammadi added:
Considering the extensive visits of travelers and tourists to the historical complex and in order to support and revive the traditional arts, the House of Handicrafts will be formed.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department of Torbat Heydariyeh stated: Considering that saffron, silk, Halva Jozi, nuts and herbal medicines are also special souvenirs of the city, a place for offering souvenirs has also been considered.
It is worth mentioning that in Torbat Heydariyeh, disciplines such as silk weaving, gemstone cutting, pottery, traditional sewing and embroidery, ornaments, engraving, music, kilim, etc. are active.
