How to evaluate the quality of an enamel work
Enamelling is necessary to provide expertise in such works. Tips that should be considered in the expertise of enamel works.
1- It is forbidden to use metal or gross alloy to prepare the infrastructure۔
2- One-piece infrastructure should be selected as much as possible.
3- The infrastructure should not have a sharp and winning edge and additional extras.
4- If the parts are connected to the infrastructure by soldering, the soldering in that part should be such that the side parts are completely connected to the main part.
5- The dimensions of the additional parts should be such that there is no excess after soldering.
6- If the metal material is gold or silver infrastructure. These two metals must be used for soldering.
7- The infrastructure has a good level of reliance.
8- The glaze surface should be free of bumps, cracks, shells, needle holes, welds, bubbles, roughness and highlights.
9- Enamel surface should have sufficient gloss and luster.
10- The thickness of the paint used in painting and decorating the enamel should be uniform on all surfaces.
11. The colors used in the painting do not overlap.
12. The selected design must be of Iranian origin.
13. It is necessary to register the artist, date and place of construction in a corner of the work. Reminder: The harmony of the colors used and the good and accurate execution of the design increase the value of the work.
