Increase Kerman date exports to 30,000 tons
Reza Ashk, the governor, general managers of the governorate and governors of Kerman province, met with the representative of the Supreme Leader in the province and said: The east of Kerman province is the forefront of security and Shiism, so security has a special status.
He said that last year, with the help of the private sector, 3,000 people with stable jobs were employed in Bam’s automotive industry, adding: Currently, 7,400 people work in Bam’s automotive industry.
Referring to agricultural activities in Bam city, the governor of Bam said: It is predicted that we will build 100 hectares of hydrophonic greenhouses in the east of Kerman province and have optimal use of water.
He pointed out that the east of Kerman province has 10 university units, 6 seminaries and 12 thousand students and all of them are moving to advance the goals of the system, he specified: the main product of the eastern cities of Kerman province is dates and last year produced 150 thousand tons they had.
Ashk continued: with the activation of the export field, last year 17 thousand and 500 tons of dates were exported from the eastern regions of Kerman province, which we hope will increase to 30 thousand tons this year.
The governor of Bam said: most of the Kerman-Bam highway will be operational and will be completed in the coming months.
