Increased chamomile harvest in East Isfahan

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Khosf city said: the harvesting of medicinal plants including chamomile started in Khosf city.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of this city said: this year, in 80 hectares of the city’s lands, the medicinal plant of chamomile was harvested in the city of Khosfagia.
Razavi added: One of the advantages of cultivating medicinal plants is their ability to be planted in small lands and cultivable plots, which has a relatively good income and can be a promising start to a leap for planting medicinal plants in the city.
He said that chamomile was cultivated for the first time in Khosf city this year, adding that medicinal plants are suitable for planting in the climatic conditions of this city due to their high tolerance threshold against environmental stresses and low need for water resources.
