He stated: 17 thousand and 813 hectares of lands in Hamedan province are under walnut cultivation, and it is predicted that more than 49 thousand tons of crops will be harvested from this area.
Shahbazi added: Last year, due to frost and production problems, 17,500 tons of products were harvested, of which 7,000 tons are produced for domestic consumption in the province and the rest are exported.
He emphasized: Hamedan ranks first in walnut production and second in terms of area under cultivation after Kerman province. Paying attention to walnuts, this valuable asset causes the identification of high quality genotype and the production of transplanted seedlings.
The director of Tuyserkan Agricultural Jihad also considered the quality, better quantity and more economical production of walnuts as the ultimate goal of walnut producers.

Khaksar stated: Tuyserkan has eight thousand and 400 hectares of orchards, of which five thousand hectares are walnut orchards, and with the production of 100,000 tons of walnut production, it has been introduced as the best orchard product in the region.
