Shahidifar stated: By increasing the area under cultivation of high-yielding cultivars, we can meet the needs of the rice market from domestic products.
He continued: The Minister of Jihad for Agriculture made great efforts to eliminate the preferred currency for rice imports, and this action was implemented with the support of the governor and members of parliament.
The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization stated: until the next few years, we will not have to worry about developing the cultivation of high-yielding cultivars, and the difference between the economic income of rice production on local and local cultivars and cultivars is between 5 to 10 million Tomans.
The official continued: We should not have a political view on the production and development of agricultural crops, but it should be an expert and technical view, and all our decisions should be in favor of farmers and increase the exploitative economy.
Shahidifar stated: All the pillars of agricultural jihad are in the service of research and there is a space for interaction and this interactive space should be used for the benefit of farmers.
He pointed out: 20 thousand billion tomans is the economic turnover of rice in the province and 10 thousand billion tomans outside the province, which are as much as the economic value of agricultural products in several provinces.
