Javadi stated: The Pistachio Office of the Ministry of Jihad for Agriculture, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, has prepared and implemented the HACCP plan, which hopes to minimize the amount of aflatoxin-producing spores within 12 years.
According to the report of the public relations of Yazd Jihad Agricultural Organization, the deputy director of the Pistachio Office pointed out: This project will be implemented as a sample in the country and then in potential areas of 20 pistachio-growing provinces of the country and in two stages; In the first stage, various feeding operations and removal of lower branches and creating a network for forecasting harvest and timely harvesting are done using two-color tents and double-walled boxes, and in the second stage, by taking effective measures, the amount of contamination in pistachio processing is noticeable. It is worth mentioning that the training and explanation workshop of the national plan Tracing the critical points of pistachio production and its control on the 4th of July of this year with the presence of 35 members of the executive staff of Mehriz province and city together with major pistachio growers and some members of the executive staff held.
