He said about climate change and global warming and its effect on crop production: Global warming, a gradual increase in global temperature, is a phenomenon that can be attributed to the combination of greenhouse gases, combustion of fossil fuels that enter the atmosphere. .
He added: Greenhouse gases have caused global climate change and have negative effects on human health, ecosystems, agriculture, forestry, water levels, etc., and currently 55% of atmospheric heating gases are produced by industrialized countries so that The United States is responsible for emitting 20 percent of the greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere.
In the end, Pourbasir attributed climate change alone to the growth of 100 million malnourished people in the world, and attributed the floods, storms, and severe cold to a further reduction in agricultural production and food shortages around the world.
