Iranian and world people’s handicrafts exhibition in Kerman
Gholamreza Farrokhi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Kerman Province, stated that this year the 11th specialized handicrafts exhibition will be held in the framework of the Handicrafts and Tourism Festival.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Kerman Province, noting that this year 200 booths have been dedicated to introducing the handicrafts of artists across the country, said:
Of these, 40 booths will be provided to artisans in Kerman Province.
Farrokhi stated that the traditional arts of the world cities of handicrafts are also exposed to the view of the interested in ten booths, and specified: in this regard, one booth has been allocated to Sirjan kilim, the world city of kilim.
He added:
Supply and display of traditional arts, interaction and creating competition among artists to improve the quality of products, creating a suitable platform for the supply and marketing of handicraft products are among the goals of holding this festival in the handicrafts sector.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Kerman Province pointed to the tourism section of the festival and said:
In this section, 40 booths will be set up in the form of ecotourism, travel service offices, entertainment and tourism complexes and accommodation places in Kerman province.
Farrokhi considered the establishment of Kerman Handicrafts and Tourism Festival as a good opportunity to introduce, present the capabilities and facilities of tourism industry activists as well as people who are somehow related to this industry and added:
Familiarity with tourism capacities, providing the necessary grounds for entry Tourist to Kerman province and also the introduction of tourism infrastructure is one of the goals of this festival in the tourism sector.
