In an interview with an IRIB correspondent in Rome, Jovani Koratola, an Iranian scholar and Italian professor of Islamic art history who is in charge of the exhibition, described Iran as the cradle of Islamic culture and civilization, adding:
“Given that Iran has always created the most important and beautiful works of art among Islamic countries, naturally a significant part of this exhibition is dedicated to the works of Iranian artists such as ceramics, glass, clothes and carpets and carpets.
“We have even placed a 40-meter Iranian carpet woven four centuries ago with the design of four gardens and a symbol of the Garden of Eden at the entrance of the exhibition so that visitors can see the mystery from the moment they enter the mystical atmosphere.”
