Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, deputy director of handicrafts at the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, said: Last year, we issued 473 home-based business cards.

Rad emphasized: We have 35,000 active craftsmen in the province, but about 16,000 of these people have ID cards and are registered in our system.

He continued: 588 people were insured in carpet weaving during the past years and according to the quota they gave to this province last year, 8 people were insured again and about 50 to 60 people were insured through the rural and nomadic insurance fund.

Rad said: Considering that this year has been named the year of production leap, we have predicted programs that will pay for low-cost facilities, hold general and specialized employee courses, and standardization and packaging course programs. To help improve the quality of handicraft products so that we can do export work, we are also pursuing temporary and permanent sales markets.
