Launching an exhibition of handicrafts in Fahraj

The handicrafts exhibition was launched in the form of 20 booths at the Lot World Base building at the entrance to the city of Fahraj.
Hamid Vahidzadeh, the head of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts in Fahraj, on the sidelines of the exhibition of handicrafts in Fahraj, demanded payment of facilities to artisans and handicraft artists in the city.
He said: Fahraj city has 700 craftsmen, but unfortunately last year only 10 craftsmen used home employment facilities, and not receiving the facilities has caused many problems in the field of production prosperity and employment of artisans.
Vahidzadeh called for the creation of employment facilities to boost handicraft production in Fahraj.
He added: Fahraj handicrafts exhibition with 20 booths was set up in the building of Lut World Base at the entrance of Fahraj city.
Vahidzadeh specified: In this exhibition, Fahraj handicrafts such as: carpet weaving, mat weaving, kilim weaving, sewing local clothes and needlework are displayed.
The exhibition is open to the public for a week, he said.
