Lorestan is the top producer of black figs in Iran
Iman Jamshidi stated: At present, more than 800 hectares of Lorestan orchards have been allocated to black figs, of which 640 hectares are fertile orchards and 160 hectares are one to three year old seedlings.
Referring to Lorestan’s capabilities in producing black figs, he added: It is predicted that the production of black figs in Lorestan province in the next 10 years will reach more than 80,000 tons per year and the amount of black fig orchards will reach more than 5,000 hectares.

Referring to the export of Lorestan black figs to different parts of the world, Jamshidi said: At present, Lorestan black figs are known in European markets and Persian Gulf countries.
