Meybod handicraft training to 150 students
Rasoul Moshtaghian, head of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts of Meybod city of Yazd, referring to holding various training courses in this general office, said:
in the first nine months of 1398, more than 150 people have been trained in handicrafts of this city.
He added:
During this period, six training courses have been held in the fields of enamel pottery, pottery, basic and advanced kilim weaving, five miles and glazed painting in Meybod city.
Mushtaqian said that the transfer of technical knowledge of the ancient industries of the past to the new generation will keep this art alive.
One third of the area of Meybod city is historical texture and with a population of 104 thousand people is located 50 km northwest of Yazd city, the capital of this province.
