More than 2,000 tons of onions are harvested in Tarom city

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Tarom city said: the area under onions cultivation in 1389 is 650 hectares, from which it is predicted that more than 2 thousand tons of crop will be harvested.
Masoud Zanganeh, stating that the operation of harvesting onions in the city has begun, said: The cultivar cultivated onions in Tarom is a local cultivar of Tarom, which is one of the cultivars with high yield and good quality.
He continued: the number of exploiters of this product is 750 people and the number of villages that have cultivated this product this year is over 28 villages.
The official clarified: the onions product produced in this city is mostly sold in markets and fruit and vegetable markets in the province and neighboring provinces, as well as in other parts of the country.
He referred to the programs implemented by Tarom Agricultural Jihad in order to increase onions production in the city and reminded:
