National Conference on Handmade Carpets in Rafsanjan

Saeed Alipour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rafsanjan Entrepreneurship Development Association, said at the opening ceremony of the Handmade Carpet Gallery in Golestan Amin.

Alipour added: We will hold a national conference on handmade carpets in 1996 with the cooperation of Sarcheshmeh Copper Company, so that it can be a strategy to achieve a bright future in the carpet industry.

He pointed out: We will also hold a car conference in Rafsanjan until the end of this year, and we will work on training and promoting productivity and entrepreneurship.

Alipour stated that carpets play an important role in the livelihood and economy of families, and added: It remains to be seen why the carpet industry in Rafsanjan has declined and prospered.

He reminded: the more the handmade carpet goes through its life, the more expensive it becomes, while today the machine-made carpets have replaced the handmade carpet.
