The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kerman Province announced the selection of 21 handicrafts of Kerman Province in the fifth judging period of the National Award for Quality and Superiority of Handicrafts of the country.
Explaining the details of this news, Fereydoun Fayali stated: In the fifth round of judging the National Award for Quality and Excellence of Iranian Handicrafts, which was held in Shiraz, 21 works from Kerman province succeeded in receiving the National Award for Quality and Excellence.
He said that in this period of judging, disciplines such as embroidery, finger cashmere, Kerman’s embroidery, embroidered fairy tales, handicrafts, gilding and Shiriki Pich kilim were ranked, adding:
Handicrafts were held in 8 provinces of the country, including Fars, Bushehr, South Khorasan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan, Khuzestan and Kerman.

He pointed out that in the fifth round of judging the National Award for Quality and Superiority of Handicrafts, 152 works were awarded, noting that in this period, 49 works from Fars province, 25 works from Sistan and Baluchestan province, 21 works from the province Kerman received 17 works from Bushehr province, 17 works from Khuzestan province, 12 works from South Khorasan province, 7 works from Hormozgan province and 4 works from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces.
